BBC did a documentary on Japanese fashion - just to make people aware of their unique sense of style. I've always been fascinated on how they're able to make clothes look good together. Different pieces that you normally wouldn't ever dream of putting on together make a really cute outfit when they're wearing them. I'm so jealous!!
Anyway, here's the first part of the documentary:
And the second part:

Go big and go bold!
Fall seems to be the season of over-sized accessories like bracelets, necklaces and other fashion jewelries. If you've been taking a close watch on the Fall fashion shows (New York, Milan, Paris and London), I'm sure you would've noticed all those blatant displays of big and bold accessories. Don't get me wrong as I love most of them :)
Here are my picks for Fall 2008's big and bold fashion jewelries:

How to tell if you're a snob...
One way of determining whether you're some rich, stuck-up snob who belongs to the upper echelons of society is when you own one (or all) of these bags. Designer Purses came up with a list of the most expensive bags available on the market today. Any chance of you owning one (or all) of them? That is, if you don't have them yet.The Prada Frame Bag
Price: $15,090
Description: In a classy Krusca color, the Prada Frame Bag is made of structured crocodile bag with Prada's emblem embossed in it.The Yves Saint Laurent Muse Bag
Price: $18,990
Description: Styled after the typical bowling bag, the YSL Muse Bag is made of crocodile skin and has enough space for you to put all your daily essentials in it.The Black Crocodile Fendi B Bag
Price: $27,700
Description: The Black Crocodile B Bag is made of structured crocodile skin and is considered one of Fendi's top bags. The Marc Jacobs Carolyn Crocodile Bag
Price: $30,000
Description: The Marc Jacobs Carolyn Crocodile bag is made of quilted crocodile skin and has interior pockets and separators for easy organization of your things. The Chanel Crocodile Biarritz
Price: $43,150
Description: This Crocodile Biarritz bag will be worth the $43,150 you'll spend (that is, if you have lots of money) as it is overly huge and made of black crocodile skin. There's a limited supply of this bag with only 30 of them for each Chanel store. The Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag
Price: $42,000
Description: Don't let the cheap look fool you! The Tribute Patchwork bag is made of 15 different LV patterns all cut up and assembled together. Only 24 of these are available worldwide, so if you miss the chance to buy one, you can probably buy its sister for $38,000.The Hermes Birkin In Croc Porosus Lisse
Price: $148,000
Description: The crocodile skin isn't the only one that makes the Hermes Birkin In Croc Porosus Lisse expensive. It's the 9-carat diamonds (with 1.86 carats on the lock) that makes it worth almost $150,000. The bag is also made on special order only.

Designer clothes don't spell "Pretty" all the time
That holds true if you've been carefully watching fashion shows. For this fall, NY Mag lists down 100 of the worst looks on the runway. I only listed the top 20 worst looks since 100 is too much to post.
Anyway, fashion, I believe, is subjective. So if you think that one of these outfits isn't worthy of being called hideous... Well, then it isn't, based on your opinion :)
Click the link above to see the rest of the list.
