BBC on Japanese Fashion

BBC did a documentary on Japanese fashion - just to make people aware of their unique sense of style. I've always been fascinated on how they're able to make clothes look good together. Different pieces that you normally wouldn't ever dream of putting on together make a really cute outfit when they're wearing them. I'm so jealous!!

LV's Cassis and Grenade

Louis Vuitton's Epi Collection features two new colors: Cassis and Grenade.

Aren't they both pretty? I really don't like LV's patent leather design. It's so dull and IMO, ugly. The Cassis and Grenade colors make me want to go and buy myself one of these bags and clutches though. Even the belt, wallet and scarf are all so pretty too!

These are Jotaro Saito's Fall 2008 collection, featured during the first day of the Tokyo Fashion Week. I like the prints of the clothes, especially the one that the girl in the fifth picture is wearing. I'd definitely get myself one of these!

Hermès Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear Bags

These are the Hermès Fall 2008 RTW bags. Any thoughts? I think they're too dry; then again, I'm the one who would go for anything brightly colored.

Fall seems to be the season of over-sized accessories like bracelets, necklaces and other fashion jewelries. If you've been taking a close watch on the Fall fashion shows (New York, Milan, Paris and London), I'm sure you would've noticed all those blatant displays of big and bold accessories. Going around in circles -- in style!

Earrings are part of almost everyone's daily accessories. I saw these cute earrings (which are all available in Etsy) that have one thing in common: circles. I especially love the first one but I think all of them are great and would look good with any outfit.

Drew is in vogue

Drew Barrymore is the face of March 2008's Vogue issue. I think she really looks different here -- and I don't like it that much. Her face looks altered and old. She also has an interview where she talks about her new boyfriend, her work and other things.

Knee-length boots are part of the wave of new trend that will take over the fashion scene this coming fall. A lot of designers included these boots in their collection, and though some of them look alike... It's still a nice addition to your shoe collection. That is, if you still don't own one. If you do, next season's the time to bring them out!

Louis Vuitton rocks with Keith Richards

Designer clothes don't spell "Pretty" all the time

That holds true if you've been carefully watching fashion shows. For this fall, NY Mag lists down 100 of the worst looks on the runway. I only listed the top 20 worst looks since 100 is too much to post.

Anyway, fashion, I believe, is subjective. So if you think that one of these outfits isn't worthy of being called hideous... Well, then it isn't, based on your opinion :)

Smoking just became fashionable?

Check out this Louis Vuitton Purse Lighter. It's a miniature purse replica that you can use as a lighter when you make it stand on its side.

I think it's really ugly. At the same time, it would be pretty cool to use one of these...just for the sake of having something this ugly. So that makes this LV purse lighter ugly-cool.

...or at the very least, to the females who want to make their partners look fashionable! These are part of Raf Simons' fall 2008 RTW. The colors are great, but IMO, I think they're a tad girly - the styles, I mean. I guess some men wouldn't mind being dressed in these, but personally, I wouldn't want my guy to wear anything that comes close to these styles!

Color-full Fall!

Benjamin Cho's fall 2008 RTW collection is another one of those lines of clothes that will make next season a lot more colorful. The clothes aren't all colorful as there are a few black ones there but the clothes that do have color... they really are colorful. I like most of his designs, especially the one in the sixth picture.

Chanel Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear Accessories

Here are some of the shoes and bags showcased during the recent Chanel Fall 2008 RTW fashion show. Was anyone able to see how the fashion show looked like? I really loved the design concept for the show -- with all the gigantic Chanel accessories and all!

Anyway, opinions on the two-toned Chanel shoes, anyone?

Classy costumes for Halloween?

Halloween is still a very long way to go, but some designers probably thought it best to provide choices for all those parties that you'll be attending during those months. John Galliano presents his fall 2008 RTW line which, IMO, definitely suits Halloween. I mean, I wouldn't really be caught dead wearing this casually for a day at the mall, right?

These are Chloé's RTW shoes for fall 2008. Aren't they pretty? I've never really been a fan of Chloé but I really like these, especially the blues and the violets. Anyone agrees?
