Vibrant colors are in this spring (as what we have seen in some of the RTW clothes and accessories, plus some of the trends I wrote about before). Apparelnews writes that electric shades are in this season that includes the colors violet, fuchsia, turquoise, green and citron.

The previous post showed Gucci's Beijing Olympic commemoration. Now we go to a brand that - well you can put it this way - knows its sports: Adidas.
Adidas will release shoes, apparel and accessories that will reflect the Olympics, each sport played there, the countries participating and different athletes. The items will be under Adidas Originals and will be called The Original Games and the different theme will be called "packs": Medal Pack, Pictogram Pack, Oddity Pack, Country Pack, Generic Pack, China Pack and the Greatest Moments Pack. Gucci decided that it wants to have a share at the hype more commonly known as the "Olympics". Well the Olympics really is a much-anticipated event so I can understand the intention of cashing in on this once-every-four-years sportsmanship spectacle.
Anyway, in order to "commemorate" the Beijing Olympics happening this year, Gucci will release a special collection called 8-8-2008 on January 28, 2008 - a few days from now. The items that are part of the collection, with the exception of the watch, will be sold exclusively in Gucci stores in China and Hong Kong only. The 8-8-2008 collection is a limited edition one, so if you're into collecting limited edition designer releases, good luck in getting your hands on these:

Here we have Stella McCartney's Spring 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection. Despite the multitude of colors we've seen on other collections, Stella McCartney's seem so dry as compared to the works of other designers. There's nothing wrong with the designs, per se, but I think the blandness lies in the colors that she chose.
The colors look like something that you'd pick when someone asks you to design clothes that have "arid desert" as a theme.

Boots seem to be really "in" these days. I see people wearing them, even when they live in the tropics. They can be matched with jeans, long skirts, minis and even micro-minis. Oh and not to forget those cute short shorts. Boots really seem to make the ones wearing them look more chic.
I found these nice pair of Chanel Quarter boots, meaning, they don't go all the way up to your knees in the even that you don't like those tall boots. These Quarter boots are black too so they go and blend well with anything that you wear, no matter what color, but they still manage to stand out because of that Chanel trademark logo.
